A lot of you might have reservations about creative arts and the likes. Let me take you through a brief tour of the world of creative arts.
Creative arts refers to a range of activities that allow for creative imaginative expression, such as music, art, creative movement (Dance), and drama. Most children express themselves by running around the house, Singing out loud when bathing or alone at home, drawing a whole lot of stuff on their exercise books, playing hide and seek, role playing father, mother and children, staining walls of the house with their crayons and water colour paint brushes and dancing very creatively to every music they hear. These are early signs for the parents to observe in their kids as they grow up.
Creative arts engage children's minds, bodies and senses and gives them the edge in the midst of their age mates and peers.
There are various types of creative arts;
Music, Drama, Dance, Prose, Visual arts (Painting, drawing, photography etc), craft and others. These engage the mind creatively and cause certain parts of the human brain to be accessed.
Sadly, most children in this part of the world don't get to have such an opportunity to harness their God given talents. Thanks to parents who want Doctors, Engineers and Lawyers from their children.
Now listen closely, the kids whose potentials are suppressed as such, end up unfulfilled in life.
Watch your kids closely and give them whats best in life.
